Patterns derived from the research insights showed that the user needs that need to be prioritized are

  • Task Management - Supervisors can assign and track tasks to the crew
  • Crew Management - Provide Supervisors a holistic view about the availability and skills of crew members
  • Reporting - The app generates reports on task progress, crew performance, and facility maintenance history

Low fidelity wireframes were tested out, based on the feedback the following improvements were made

  • Reports were organized in a File system based structure
  • A calendar based intuitive interface was added for task scheduling and tracking

Finally, High fidelity UI designs were created and seamlessly handed-off to the engineering team.
